Searching for an apartment to rent in Prague is not an easy task at all. On the real estate market, the most popular search query is exactly renting a flat in Prague. It has many prestigious universities and international companies, which makes renting an apartment difficult due to the large number of students and foreigners living in the country long-term. Historic buildings may not have elevators, insects may appear, and heating is often gas-based, requiring maintenance. Public transport runs 24/7, so it’s important to consider the distance to tram tracks, especially if you are a light sleeper. If you can't find a suitable apartment, it's worth looking at nearby towns and villages — rent there is cheaper, and the trip to the center takes 30 – 45 minutes.
