The Jivák Hunting Hotel is a unique building with a genius loci, originally a princely pub with a dance hall from 1935, which was later rebuilt into a restaurant by Prince Alexandr Jan of Thurn-Taxis. In 1994, the building was expanded to accommodation and rebuilt to its current form.

The hotel is located in the middle of extensive St. George's forests on the dam of the Jívák pond with a sandy beach. The view of the pond from the hotel terrace and rooms is magical, the surrounding nature is perfect for relaxation and rest. The hotel kitchen became famous not only for its venison specialties, but also for its preparation on an outdoor lava grill and in a smokehouse.

The hotel has a long established clientele and almost a hundred years of history. Family celebrations, weddings, company parties, banquets and trainings are held here. The surrounding forests are criss-crossed by well-visited hiking trails, one of which leads directly to the dam of the pond, in front of the main entrance.
